01 Oct Local cancer patients encouraged to take survey
CAN Cancer of Harney County — which is administered through Harney District Hospital’s Outreach Department — received funding from the Oregon Health & Science University Knight Cancer Institute’s Community Partnership Program to conduct an assessment of local cancer patients to identify cancer-related needs and barriers to care.
Cancer patients who are currently undergoing, or who have undergone, cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, hormone therapy) while living in Harney County are encouraged to take the survey. The goal is to better understand and identify barriers that Harney County cancer patients face while undergoing treatment.
