Help shape the future of healthcare in Harney County!

The 2022 Harney County Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) survey is scheduled to launch Feb. 1.

A collaboration of Harney County Health District (Harney District Hospital), Harney County Health Department/High Country Health and Wellness Center, and Symmetry Care Inc., the survey aims to gather information about the health and health needs of Harney County residents. The results will help these three organizations make decisions about the care they provide and determine how to meet the needs of the community.

Respondents will be asked about their individual health, their opinions about the greatest health needs facing the community, and their perception of the services that are available in Harney County. The survey has 34 questions, and it should take fewer than 15 minutes to complete.

The CHNA is available in both paper and digital formats.

The digital version can be found online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HarneyCHNA2022.

Paper copies are available at Harney District Hospital (HDH), HDH Family Care Clinic, NewSun Energy & Harney District Hospital Specialty Care Clinic, the Harney County Health Department, Symmetry Care, the Burns Paiute Tribe’s Wadatika Health Clinic, the Harney County Library, and the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center, and the Harney County Chamber of Commerce.

To encourage participation in the CHNA, a drawing will be held for respondents who choose to enter their name and contact information. Three winners will be drawn and awarded a $100 Shop Harney gift card, which can be used at numerous participating local businesses. All survey responses will remain completely confidential, and contact information will only be used for the drawing.

The survey will be open from Feb. 1 to March 31, 2022. Please help us shape the future of healthcare in Harney County by taking the survey and encouraging others to do the same!
