Women’s Circle 100 & Men’s Guild

The Harney Hospital Foundation hosted the Women’s Circle 100 on March 9, and the Men’s Guild was held May 10.

Participants donate $100 each, and gather at an event to learn about current needs for Harney County Health District. The group then votes to give the total amount raised to one project.

Forty-eight people attended Circle 100 (with 77 total donating the $100). Dawn Marten and Sammie Masterson presented the details around three potential donation opportunities. At the end of the evening, the group voted to put their funds toward the purchase of Noelle, a maternal and neonatal birthing simulator doll for labor and delivery training.

The Men’s Guild raised $2,650 with 26 in attendance. The group heard a presentation about needs facing the Health District and voted to put funds toward a new crash cart monitor. A crash cart is a wheeled unit used to transport and dispense emergency equipment and medications for life support protocols.
