Recovery Close To Home!!

After an acute hospital stay, some patients aren't quite ready to return home without assistance. The Swingbed program at Harney District Hospital allows patients to recover under the care of skilled nurses in a hospital setting. This program is perfect for those who may not have local access to a skilled nursing facility, but would benefit from hospital-level medical care. The Swingbed program can assist you with: * Recovery from major surgery, joint replacement, vascular or abdominal procedures * Recovery from stroke or trauma * Pain management * Wounds that aren't healing or need special care * Dietary consultation * IV Therapy If you or someone you know is scheduled for a surgical procedure or is hospitalized and recovering from an illness, this program can provide quality skilled nursing care near family and friends.
