Our Doctors

Finding a doctor you trust and feel comfortable with is extremely important for Labor and Delivery patients. After all, what is more important than your baby's health? And you'll be seeing a lot of them; up to once a week as you get close to delivery!

Harney District Hospital is happy to have Dr. Kevin Johnston and Dr. Scott Spence available to provide pre-natal, labor and delivery and well-child care. Your doctor will stay at the hospital or the nearby High Desert Medical Center during birth to provide continuous care, a rarity in obstetrics.

Our Facility

Our spacious and comfortable Labor and Delivery suites feature private baths with whirpool tubs. In addition, the rooms are furnished with TV, DVD/VCR and Stereo with CD player, expansive cabinetry and plenty of room for visitors! You may bring movies, music and all the other comforts of home.
